Description
Transair® Flexible Compressed Air Hose installs quickly to Transair components and without prior preparation or cutting. Due to the tight bend radius, minimum space is required for installation. Using a flexible hose eliminates many of the layout constraints encountered when using rigid piping systems. Eliminating these layout constraints reduces the mechanical stress in the compressed air system. The flexible hose can be routed around obstacles and provides a link between the compressor and piping network. The SBR cover is resistant to most compressor oils and fire.
Transair® compressed air flexible hose is available in 1-inch, 1 ½ inch, 2-inch, 2 ½ inch, 3-inch, 4-inch hose diameters. Flexible hose is only rated for use in compressed air systems.
To avoid serious injury or property damage, an anti-whiplash strap (pn: 6698 99 03) needs to be used when install a flexible hose. Parker Transair® recommends installing a strap on either side of the connection to prevent the flexible air hose from whipping in the event of a blow off.
